Dreams Have Wings

This morning I have been watching a lot of really pretty birds in my backyard. I decided to make a "bird" card. I started with a piece of K & Company designer paper for the background. The bird and branch are from the "Bird Lovers" from "Craft Secrets" Clear Art Stamps. If you like birds, I am sure you will like this 20 piece set. This is another set I got from Joan Fricker, at Joan's Gardens.

The bird and branch were stamped with black Memento ink and colored with Copic Markers then cut out. I created the frames with Petite Oval Nestabilities. The card stock is Vanilla and Basic Black. I used the Cuttlebug "Bird Call" embossing folder to give some dimension to the vanilla oval. The flower was petals torn off a silk flower. I used a SU punch for the black center then added a green brad in the center to hold it together.

The verse was stamped then cut out and the SU "ticket corner" punch used on each corner. Everything is attached with dimensional tape.

Selma,

OMG this card is so beautiful and I love the designer paper you used. The bird is so graceful and the cuttlebug background paper is so appropriate. The colors you chose are perfect.....another wonderdul creation.
